2. Advertising & Third-Party Services (Google AdMob)

To keep this application free for learners worldwide, we integrate Google Mobile Ads (Google AdMob) to serve non-intrusive advertisements (Banner, Interstitial, and Rewarded Video Ads).

AdMob may automatically collect and process certain non-personally identifiable technical data to serve ads, measure ad performance, and prevent fraudulent activity:

4. Local Device Storage

Operational data generated during your usage remains strictly within the application's sandboxed local storage on your device:

• Search History & Custom Lists: Stored locally in a private SQLite database and can be cleared at any time in settings.
• Favorites: Saved locally on your phone.
• User Preferences: Display theme (Light/Dark) and font size settings stored via local SharedPreferences.

5. Device Permissions

• Text-to-Speech (Audio): Uses the built-in operating system speech engine to pronounce German vocabulary aloud. No audio or voice recordings are made or uploaded.
• Internet Access: Required strictly for fetching advertisements via Google Mobile Ads SDK.

6. Children's Privacy

Our application is designed for general audiences learning German. We comply fully with applicable children's privacy regulations including COPPA and GDPR-K. AdMob advertisements are configured to comply with content safety standards suitable for educational apps.
