The German Dictionary Offline mobile application is developed and maintained by PT Devora Digital Kreasi as a free educational dictionary tool. Protecting user privacy is our highest priority.

This application is designed to operate 100% offline. All dictionary lookups, grammatical article references, audio pronunciations, verb conjugation tables, and quiz features run directly on your device without requiring an active internet connection or account login.

2. Data Collection and Usage

We do not collect, track, store, or transmit any personal identifiable information to external servers:

• No User Account: No registration, phone number, email address, or login is required to use any feature.
• No Location Data: The application does not access or track GPS, network, or geolocation information.
• No Analytics or SDK Trackers: The application contains no third-party tracking, profiling, advertising, or behavior analytics frameworks.

3. Local Device Storage

Any preferences or operational data generated during your usage remain strictly within the app's sandboxed local storage on your device:

• Search History: Word lookup records are stored in a private local SQLite database on your device and can be cleared at any time in the app settings.
• Favorites: Bookmarked words are saved locally on your phone.
• User Preferences: Display theme (Light/Dark mode) and font size settings are stored via local device storage.

4. Device Permissions

The application requires only the minimal permissions necessary to function:

• Text-to-Speech (Audio): Uses the built-in operating system speech engine to pronounce German vocabulary aloud. No audio or voice recordings are made, processed, or uploaded.
• Internal Storage: Access is strictly restricted to the application's isolated sandbox directory to read the bundled SQLite dictionary database.

5. Children's Privacy

Our application is suitable for general audiences of all ages, including children learning German. Because we collect zero personal data from any user, we comply fully with applicable children's privacy regulations including COPPA and GDPR-K.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy periodically. Any updates will be reflected on this page and within the application's Settings section with a revised "Last updated" date.
